The United Nations Association in the UK (UNA-UK) has produced an excellent appreciation of former Secretary-General Kofi Annan, who passed away on 18 August 2018. The centrepiece of this collection is an obituary written by our former President, Edward Mortimer, who worked closely with Mr Annan during his term of office; it is well worth a read, as are the Memories of our current President, Sir Kieran Prendergast. Taken together with the other tributes it contains, this is a powerful collection which UNA-UK has put together.
Members may also be interested in reading the tribute by Sir Richard Jolly, another of our former presidents, and Carlos Fortin, which has been posted on the website of the Institute for Development Studies (IDS). And, of course, registered members who are signed in can also access the video of Kofi Annan's session at our Annual Reunion, one of his last public appearances.
