“The Life & Legacy of Kofi Annan”

For those who may be interested, we have received the following invitation from the UK United Nations Association:

I am delighted to invite you to a special event to remember and celebrate the life and legacy of Kofi Annan on Monday 3 June 2019.

The event will take place from 5pm to 8pm at London’s prestigious Central Hall Westminster – where the first UN Secretary-General was appointed in 1946.

Mr Annan played a major role in international affairs for almost half a century, becoming one of the world’s most celebrated diplomats. Working at the heart of the UN, including ten years as Secretary-General, he was at the helm grappling with some of the biggest crises of the 21st Century. Mr Annan is well remembered for his contributions to international politics; for his tireless dedication to advocacy for peace and reform; and for his work on human rights and development.

Our stellar line-up of speakers and special guests will be released shortly.

Tickets are limited and will sell out quickly. Secure your place now with a 20% discount for UNA-UK members using the promotional code: MEMBER66.

This event is being held in partnership with Chatham House, and is generously supported by Open Society Foundations and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. We look forward to seeing you there.

Best wishes,
Laurel & the UNA-UK Team
